Travel Approval!!

Big news!!! Today we were approved by China to travel and get Mia!!! We’re hoping to depart April 11th, receive our girl on the 15th and return home on the 26/27th :)

Thanks for your prayers, support, and encouragement!!   It’s been an exciting 10 month journey and we can’t believe we are so close to having Mia as a forever part of our family :) Jesus is so good!!!

Article 5 Pickup!

We were approved for adoption by the US Consulate in Guangzhou, China today!!! Can you pray that China grants us travel approval and visas by Friday so we can buy our plane tickets?

Article 5 Dropoff

Another adoption step today!! We had some of our paperwork dropped off at the US Consulate in Guangzhou, China.  We are praying the next steps come much quicker than is typical!! Will you pray for us to be in China within a month?

p.s. 4/9/19 I included this note later and the screenshot of the FB post too, bc...exactly one month later is when we are scheduled to land in China!  Isn’t Jesus cool how He answers specific prayers specifically!?!?

Two Adoption Steps Closer

Two adoption steps closer this morning 🙂 we prayed specifically to God to allow this email to come today (rather than a predicted Friday timeframe) and guess what we woke up to? 

God is so amazing, even in the small details of timing. Will you pray for us to be united with Mia within a month?  All things are possible for our incredible Jesus! (see our previous timeline with Ali!)

Getting Closer

Adoption update: The last time we got a letter from this address is was sad news of a several-week delay :( but today’s mail was big news of another governmental approval step :) 🙏🏻🙌🏻 getting closer to getting our sweet girl in 🇨🇳 but still probably 6-8+ weeks to go
